After he passes away while Kelly is still young, she is approached by a strange man. He tells her she must carry on her grandfather’s mission; protecting people from evil creatures and bringing peace to the dead. All the stories he told her were ways of fighting and or helping them. But she won’t inherit the powers till she turns 16 like her grandfather did. He promises he will visit again on her 16^th birthday. Several years pass and on her 16^th birthday her powers manifest; she now has the powers to see the dead and supernatural. The strange man visits her and takes her to grandfather’s tool shed filled with weapons and a book on how to confront the many strange and evil things she will encounter. He warns some evil beings know this and want to get rid of her so she must never let her guard down. With the help of the mysterious man and some friends she meets along the way, Kelly Mendoza will protect people from dark forces. She is the Myth Hunter.
